Last Semester's Holiday

On 23rd of December 2016, i took my raport. After took the raport, all of SMAN 3's students were having holiday. We were going to have holiday about more than 2 weeks. I was very happy because i can do whatever without thinking about school. I knew that my family won't go anywhere, so before the holiday, i downloaded many videos like films, korean dramas, kpop videos, and games.
I watched dramas everyday. My favourites are "W - Two Worlds", "Reply 1988", "Reply 1994", and "Moonlight Drawn by Clouds". But the most favourite drama that i've watched is W. There are so many plot twists. This drama amazed me. I recommend you whoever wants to watch korean dramas to watch W - two worlds. Although my most favourite drama was W, but the drama that can't make me move on was Reply 1988. This drama has a very good story and has many messages. They got good rating too.
There was a thing that make me dissapointed. It was because that i have downloaded new games that i bought but i couldn't play them because of the internet connection. I moved to Buah Batu and we have to use a new wifi. But we still haven't done it. So i didn't play my games.
What i like from my last holiday was when i went to BIP to play at Timezone and meet my community's friends. I have a community called MaiMai Community Bandung. We like to play an arcade game called MaiMai. I went BIP on 4th January. I was having so much fun. We made many game play videos. We made funny choreographs while playing. We become the center of attention haha. And what's surprised me was that i spend 100k in one day just for play MaiMai. And i lost my Timezone card and my BanaPass. I'm so sad.
This is MaiMai

After several days, SMAN 3's students are having school again. It does make me sad. I still want to have holiday. But nothing can do...

Gilbert N. Lewis

Gilbert N. Lewis was born in 1875 in Weymouth, Massachusetts. He was an American physical chemist known for the discovery of the covalent bond and his concept of electron pairs; his Lewis dot structures and other contributions to valence bond theory have shaped modern theories of chemical bonding. Lewis successfully contributed to thermodynamics, photochemistry, and isotope separation, and is also known for his concept of acids and bases.
After receiving his PhD in chemistry from Harvard University and studying abroad in Germany and the Philippines, Lewis moved to California to teach chemistry at the University of California, Berkeley. Several years later, he became the Dean of the college of Chemistry at Berkeley, where he spent the rest of his life. As a professor, he incorporated thermodynamic principles into the chemistry curriculum and reformed chemical thermodynamics in a mathematically rigorous manner accessible to ordinary chemists. He began measuring the free energy values related to several chemical processes, both organic and inorganic.

In 1916, he also proposed his theory of bonding and added information about electrons in the periodic table of the elements. In 1933, he started his research on isotope separation. Lewis worked with hydrogen and managed to purify a sample of heavy water. He then came up with his theory of acids and bases, and did work in photochemistry during the last years of his life. In 1926, Lewis coined the term "photon" for the smallest unit of radiant energy. He was a brother in Alpha Chi Sigma, the professional chemistry fraternity.

Though he was nominated 41 times, G. N. Lewis never won the Nobel Prize in Chemistry. On March 23, 1946, Lewis was found dead in his Berkeley laboratory where he had been working with hydrogen cyanide; many postulated that the cause of his death was suicide. After Lewis' death, his children followed their father's career in chemistry.

Sumatran Tiger

The Sumatran tiger (Panthera tigris sumatrae) is a rare tiger subspecies that inhabits the Indonesian island of Sumatra. It has been listed as Critically Endangered on the IUCN Red List in 2008 as the population was estimated at 441 to 679 individuals, with no subpopulation larger than 50 individuals and a declining trend.
The Sumatran tiger is one of the smallest tiger subspecies. Males weigh 100 to 140 kg (220 to 310 lb) and measure 2.2 to 2.55 m (87 to 100 in) in length between the pegs with a greatest length of skull of 295 to 335 mm (11.6 to 13.2 in). Females weigh 75 to 110 kg (165 to 243 lb) and measure 215 to 230 cm (85 to 91 in) in length between the pegs with a greatest length of skull of 263 to 294 mm (10.4 to 11.6 in).
Tigers don't have a set season for reproduction to take place. Instead they are able to engage in the activities throughout the year. After a gestation period of 16 weeks (about 3.5 months), a tiger gives birth to a live litter, usually comprising three or four cubs. Males and females will then leave their mother’s care at around 24 to 30 months of age. Females are likely to find personal territory close to their mothers, while her male cubs will probably wander further away from her.
Sumatran Tigers are carnivores and will eat whatever they can catch including fish, crocodiles and fowl, with the most common larger prey being wild pigs and deer. In the wild: The tiger is a solitary animal.
Major threats include habitat loss due to expansion of palm oil plantations and planting of acacia plantations, prey-base depletion, and illegal trade primarily for the domestic market. Kerinci Seblat National Park, which has the largest recorded population of tigers, is suffering a high rate of deforestation in its outer regions.

Science Camp IV

Hi! Now i'm too ambis to make this entry wkwkwk. Science Camp IV held on 16 until 17th of September. This is my number one favourite SMAN 3 event. I got many lessons, happiness, experiences, foods °(৹˃̵﹏˂̵৹)°·๐ , and friends here. My subject was biology. beside subject group, i have another group consists of 5 people.
We did the Science Camp at Bougenville park on Puntang Mountain. The scenery was so great! The air was so fresh and cool. The river water was clear, clean and fresh too. Here, we have to be polite and don't speak 'sompral'.
We were learning about biology here
On the first day, there was mrs. Rike from LIPI. She spoke about research material. After that i had lunch, wrote scientific work, studied biology, did a research. In the evening, my group made a presentation and the words file. Before we slept, our senior told us to sleep earlier because the next day on 3 AM we are going to stargazing. Oh ya, we were slept in the hall, not tent because the rain were very heavy.
When we woke up, our senior told us that we aren't going to stargazing because it was still raining. I'M SO DISAPPOINTED. But it was not our seniors fault too.. So after that we prayed and played a game. after playing game, we divided to some groups. In this game, we have to answer some questions. but my group wasn't win.
on 7 AM we had to breakfast, and packing. After that, we had to present our presentation. It took time about 2,5 hours. And then we took some photos together, played kite, etc. We were free after the presentation.
Actually i need the Science Camp pt 2 lol. It's not enough for me(?). This experience is so precious. I hope next year i can be the 'teteh biologi' on Science Camp V, haha. So i think that's all about my SC story. Thank you for reading guys!

Let's take a look to the picture, beautiful right? This place located in Santorini, Greece and part of  Cyclades islands. Why would i make Santorini entry from many good place? i don't know, hehe. Actually i know Santorini since i was an Elementary School student. I was very interested to see photos of Santorini. The pictures were very calming. I think it is because the blue and white colour. And i ever watched a film about throuser and friendship, some scenes are took in Santorini. I don't remember the title.
In Santorini there are many blue and white buildings. But it doesn't mean that all of the buildings are blue and white. What are we have to do when we are here is to see the sunset and swimming at Amoudi Bay (this is just my opinion). The sea is beautiful.
There is hot springs in Santorini. Hot springs is a spring of naturally hot water, typically heated by subterranean volcanic activity. But the hot springs aren't particularly hot (and the sulfur content is very high). I hope i could go to Santorini one day.

Megantara is a Culture Festival held on 10th of September by SMAN 3 Bandung at Bali Field. This is the last event of Student Council 63 of 3 Senior High School. I was one of the committee, Decoration division. My job was to make some decorations for Megantara. And this event was my first time to be a committee in 3 Senior High School event.
In Megantara there were many food trucks and stands that sell foods, drinks, accessories, etc. I bought Pempek Palembang, Lemonade, and chicken noodle there (But i was disappointed with Pempek Palembang's taste, it's not worth with the price. lol). There were haunted house and face paint stand too.
Megantara invited many guest stars, they are Putra Giri Harja, OSD ITB, UKM Bali, The Changcuters, RAN, etc. Although the main star was RAN, but the performance that i really want to see was T'ST. Oh ya, SMAN3's students did fashion show. They wore Indonesian raditional clothes. Aaannd, the winner was from West Papua.

The visitors were sooooo many. I don't really like being in the crowds, but people's faces are happy, so that was ok. I met my Junior High School's friends too there. It wasn't raining. And the event was very success, i was happy. That's all, thank you for reading my entry~
